As a whole, the internet permits the opportunity to engage in both civil and less-than-civil discourse. In my little fiefdom, however, only civil discourse is permitted, and mine is the only opinion that matters when it comes to what comments will appear and/or remain on this site. Don’t get me wrong, I welcome your comments and even encourage you to disagree with my posts or the comments of your fellow readers. On the other hand, comments that may be deemed personal insults, threats, or extraneous to the advancement of relevant discourse may be removed from circulation. Further, those who chronically fail to abide by these rules of engagement will be permantently banned from making comments here.
