About John G. Gromowsky

I am a Kansas City criminal defense attorney.  I am also a husband and a dad.  So while I do not have a lot of extra time on my hands, I would like to use this blog from time-to-time to share my thoughts regarding (1) developments in the law, (2) crime related news, and (3) whatever else that strikes me as interesting.  If you have any desire to know more about me or my law firm, feel free to visit The Gromowsky Law Firm, LLC.

Please keep in mind that while my blog entries may address legal issues, they should not be considered legal advice. If you have a legal problem, please discuss your problem with an attorney licensed to practice where you live. I am licensed to practice law only in Missouri and Kansas. Laws in your jurisdiction may be different than they are in mine. Additionally, laws–and the way courts interpret them–change. Thus, any legal information contained in my blog entries may be obsolete or otherwise irrelevant by the time you read it.

Please also keep in mind that should you choose to leave a comment on this blogsite, the whole world will be able to read it. I am a lawyer, but chances are, I am not your lawyer. Attorney-client privilege does not exist in an open forum. Therefore, you should NEVER provide details concerning your case in a comment you post to this or any other website. It may sound cliche, but whatever you say can be used against you in a court of law. And don’t think that hiding your comment behind a fake username or “anonymous” will save you. If the government (or the opposing party in your litigation) wants your identifying information badly enough, there are probably ways to find it. Don’t believe me? Check out this article. Or this one.

To the extent this blog may be considered attorney advertising, please remember that the choice of an attorney is an important decision and should not be based solely upon advertisements.

Other than all that, enjoy.

Thanks for taking the time to visit.
